The computer resources for the John von Neumann Institute for Computing are based on the IBM Blue Gene/P JUGENE with 1 Petaflop/s and the 200 Teraflop/s general-purpose supercomputer JUROPA. The Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) is responsible for the operation of the supercomputers. At present, there are about 650 supercomputer users, appr. 450 of them belong to 100 NIC projects.
