Research Topics:

  • Cognitive neuroscience
  • Brain-behaviour relationships
  • Inter-individual variability

Methodological Topics:

  • structural MRI
  • resting state functional MRI

The goal of my research is to contribute to the understanding of the neural bases of behavioural phenotypes using data-driven methods and large-cohort datasets. My PhD is focused on the identification of broad and robust dimensions of brain-behaviour interindividual variability that form the backdrop of psychopathology. The aim of the project is to integrate data from structural Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), resting-state functional MRI and extensive behavioural data derived from psychological questionnaires and cognitive tasks. To further characterize the biological bases of these brain-behavioural dimensions, I will analyse their heritability. In the long term, I aim to contribute to the understanding of the biological bases of mental illness.
