A Window into the Brain

New Jülich PET Centre will incorporate results from neurological research into clinical practice quickly

Jülich, 7 March 2013 – Early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, improving the diagnosis of tumours, and developing new drugs – research and application in these areas will in future be combined at the new Centre for Positron Emission Tomography (PET Centre). This unique facility was inaugurated at Forschungszentrum Jülich today in the presence of Thomas Rachel, member of the Bundestag and parliamentary state secretary in the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
