Three Casting Heads for Future Fuel Cells

Jülich, 6 June 2017 – The development of new materials for the Energiewende is one of the key challenges facing society, which Jülich’s Institute of Energy and Climate Research – Materials Synthesis and Processing (IEK-1) aims to help solve. The Jülich materials specialists have now added a new piece of equipment to their state-of-the-art machinery. The new tape-casting facility is called "JuCast 3-500" and was developed and designed by the IEK-1 experts themselves.
