Ground-Breaking Ceremony for Planned Jülich Biologiecampus

Jülich, 24 August – Three at one blow: Forschungszentrum Jülich is constructing a new building for the institutes of Biotechnology, Agrosphere, and Cellular Biophysics. On the Biologiecampus, in future a total of 195 employees working in biology-related fields will make joint use of state-of-the-art laboratories, seminar rooms, and offices. The researchers will not only move closer together, but will also be able to exchange ideas much more effectively. Thomas Rachel, member of the German Bundestag and Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Education and Research, took part in the ground-breaking ceremony for the future building together with Prof. Harald Bolt, member of Jülich’s Board of Directors.
