Forschungszentrum Jülich Coordinates “Little Scientists’ House” Network in the Düren District

Jülich, 20 October 2017 – On 1 August 2017, Forschungszentrum Jülich became the coordination office for the "Little Scientists' House" network in the district of Düren. This non-profit foundation supports quality early-age education in the STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) as well as education for sustainable development. At the official launch event, Research State Secretary and patron of the network for the Düren district Thomas Rachel and Karsten Beneke, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Forschungszentrum Jülich, talked about Jülich’s new tasks as coordination office to an audience of around 70 teachers from daycare centres, kindergartens, and primary schools in the district of Düren.
