Extended maintenance on all JSC HPC systems from 13 to 15 April 2021

A routine maintenance on the transformers supplying electricity to the systems in the machine hall at JSC will take place on 13 April 2021. During this procedure, there is the possibility that a safety mechanism will be triggered, which would result in a sudden loss of power in all systems in the main machine hall.

As a precaution, all the systems will be taken offline, including the storage cluster and tape libraries. For this reason we will use the opportunity to perform further actions that are normally not possible without a global maintenance. As a result, all systems will be offline between the 13 and 15 April 2021.
