CROPINNO Phenotyping Workshop and Training School 2024

A plant phenotyping workshop took place on 4^th and 5^th of March 2024 at the institute IBG-2: Plant Sciences.

35 participants from Serbia, Italy, Spain, and Germany traveled to Jülich to learn about state-of-the-art plant phenotyping approaches for lab and field phenotyping as well as about research infrastructure and science management.

The workshop was followed by a three-day training school from 6^th to 8^th of March 2024 with 12 participants from Serbia and Germany. The training school gave the opportunity to get hands-on experience on different root and shoot phenotyping approaches, including image and data analysis.

Both the workshop and the training school were organized within the CROPINNO project and were funded by the European Union. The CROPINNO project aims to strengthen scientific and innovation capacity of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops at Novi Sad, Serbia in the development and production of climate-smart crops.
