Hadding-Award for Dr. Wolfgang Hoyer

The Ulrich-Hadding-Forschungspreis has been awarded jointly to Dr. Wolfgang Hoyer (ICS-6/Institut für Physikalische Biologie Düsseldorf) and the neuropathologist Dr. Andreas Müller-Schiffmann. At the yearly international meeting of the Biotechnologisch-Medinisches Zentrum (BMFZ) in Düsseldorf, both scientists were recognized for their contributions to research on Alzheimer's disease. The award is endowed with a prize money of 5,000 euros and has been awarded since 2003 to excellent non-habilitated researchers from the working groups of the BMFZ.
