New Start-up provides high-quality protein and peptide samples for research

Jülich, 5 October 2015 - Isoloid GmbH supplies essential proteins and peptides for research into serious illnesses. The new company is a spin-off of Jülich’s Institute of Complex Systems – Structural Biochemistry (ICS-6) and the Institute of Biophysics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. The Düsseldorf innovation and transfer agency DIWA GmbH is supporting the start-up, which has its own stand at BIOTECHNICA 2015 in Hannover (hall 9, stand G39) from 6 to 8 October.

Research on many modern diseases, like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson´s disease or Diabetes Type II, depends on high-purity samples of the amyloid proteins and peptides involved in pathology.
Recombinant production of these proteins is often difficult, because of their harmful effects on the producing organism. Isoloid GmbH provides high-purity samples for your lab using an innovative system based on many years of experience in structural biology research. Our high quality samples offer a reliable basis for research projects and can be easily labeled with stable isotopes for analysis with NMR spectroscopy.
