Cryo-EM is an integral part of the Ernst-Ruska Centre with world-leading equipment in ultra-high resolution electron microscopy. The cryo-EM facility of the Ernst-Ruska Centre 3 is equipped with state-of-the-art cryo-microscopes 300 kV Titan Krios G4 (operational in Spring 2021) and 200 kV Talos Arctica including Gatan Bioquantum K3 detectors. For negative staining and cryo-EM, we use a Talos L120C from ThermoFisher Instruments. The facility is being maintained by Julio Ortiz and Thomas Heidler.
