Human Resource Development
In order to continue being successful in science and administration, employees with outstanding expertise and excellent soft skills are essential for Forschungszentrum Jülich. The aim of the work at Human Resource Development is therefore to carefully select employees for current and future tasks and to train them accordingly.
We identify highly qualified professionals on the internal and external job market and, using systematic selection procedures, clarify whether the candidates meet the requirements of the advertised position. In addition, we provide continuous further training for our employees by means of demand-oriented human resource development measures.
Our key tasks are:
- handling all administrative and organizational issues of recruitment and human resource development activities
- analysing recruitment and human resource development requirements, and suggesting courses and/or providers
- systematic dovetailing of measures to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
- designing and supervising measures to supplement those offered by external providers to account for characteristic features of Forschungszentrum Jülich
- scrutinizing measures with respect to their cost and necessity
- representing Forschungszentrum Jülich nationally and internationally at events, trade fairs, and online as an attractive employer and location for vocational training
