At Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg (HI ERN), which in 2013 was founded as part of Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), Michael Geißelbrecht is working in Prof. Peter Wasserscheids research department Chemical Hydrogen Storage.

Large-scale demonstrators for a decentralized and regenerative energy system are built at FZJ as part of the LLEC project. One demonstrator is a LOHC-One-Reactor for stationary hydrogen storage via LOHC, which is designed and built at FZJ in Jülich. The One-Reactor improves stationary hydrogen storage as the two reactions, hydrogen storage in the LOHC and hydrogen release from the LOHC, can be conducted in the same reactor. The talk will present the planned One Reactor and the LOHC research at HIERN.
