Team Efficient Hydrogen Release
Head: Dr. Moritz Wolf
Our goal is to develop technologies to enable energy storage with high efficiency. To achieve this, we perform fundamental research on thermodynamics and catalysis as well as applied engineering research on advanced apparatuses and systems. Main field of research is the release of hydrogen from liquid organic hydrogen carrier materials. For that purpose, we combine aspects of chemistry, like:
• research on alternative catalysts,
• development of new catalyst carrier, and
• works on catalytic membranes
with works from different engineering fields, such as
• thermodynamics of reactions and processes
• system analysis, and
• studies of reliability and resilience.
