Our administrative staff provide advice and support in all matters concerning personnel, orders, public relations and muchmore. Our engineers and mechanics work closely with the scientists; programmers and IT specialists give advice anddevelop device drivers and control software as well as imaging techniques for real-time simulations.

PGI/JCNS-TA has created its own server architecture and interfaces in order to interlink common computer operatingsystems. Know-how is available in cryotechnology and ultrahigh vacuum technology, neutron instrumentation and X-raybeamline design. Design work is performed at state-of-the-art CAD workstations.

In order to process unusual materials, the Workshop has special soldering and welding technologies at its disposal.Furthermore, it also constructs complete sputtering facilities as well as high-temperature furnaces and light furnaces thatcannot even be supplied by special manufacturers.
