With 1.7 square kilometers, the Jülich research campus offers plenty of space for scientific work at the highest level. However Jülich, as one of the largest research centers in Europe, is not only a unique place for cutting-edge research. We are also part of the community for which we conduct research and offer people in the region and beyond a variety of opportunities to get to know us.

Every three years, thousands of people take the opportunity to explore the campus and get an overview of the broad spectrum of our research during Tag der Neugier. On this day, hundreds of scientists regularly report on their exciting projects.

But even beyond these major events, we see ourselves as an open place for dialog and lively exchange. Whether in fascinating experiments in the school lab, in weekly video conferences, in the Jülich blogs, in discussions with visitor groups or in the neighbourhood dialog - the Jülich employees provide a very close and personal insight into their work on many occasions.
