Strategies for Containing the COVID-19 Pandemic

In view of the major public importance of providing an objective evidence base regarding the occurrence of COVID-19 infections, Germany’s four largest non-university research organizations have come together to publish a joint statement. In it, scientists from the four organizations present a joint analysis of the situation and assess possible measures for managing the pandemic on the basis of modelling approaches. Forschungszentrum Jülich is a member of the Helmholtz Association, one of the organizations responsible for the statement – along with the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the Leibniz Association, and the Max Planck Society.
