Funding for AI Projects

Jülich, 17 June 2020 – The Helmholtz Association is providing € 7.2 million in funding to research projects in applied artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). An expert panel selected a total of 19 projects for the “Helmholtz AI Cooperation Unit” (Helmholtz AI), each of which will be granted € 400,000 in funding over a total period of two to three years. Scientists at Forschungszentrum Jülich are involved in five of these research projects.
