Integrated Photovoltaics: “We’ll Be Seeing Solar Cells Everywhere” – Dr. Kaining Ding

1st International Integrated PV Application Workshop on 7 + 8 April 2022 (online workshop)

Jülich, 5 April 2022 – Integrated photovoltaics (IPV) could play an important role in a net-zero energy supply that is also not reliant on fossil raw materials. This is particularly true in densely populated countries such as Germany, where the world’s first international IPV workshop will begin on Thursday. Solar experts from Europe, Asia, and the USA will discuss the latest developments in this highly dynamic field during the two-day online workshop. Applications range from floating solar plants on lakes and solar modules elevated above farmland to solar cells integrated in building façades, rooftops, and vehicle bodies. The workshop has been organized by Forschungszentrum Jülich. The event is open to everyone and participation is free of charge. (Registration at https://go.fzj.de/ipv_workshop2022)
