Multiple Honours for Jülich Battery Researcher

Phoenix/Jülich, 14 October 2015 – Prof. Martin Winter is the recipient of several accolades. The Electrochemical Society (ECS) presented him with the Carl Wagner Memorial Award and the Battery Division Research Award at their ECS Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. Last week, the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) appointed Winters an ISE Fellow in recognition of his research achievements at their Annual Meeting in Taipeh, Taiwan. Since the beginning of the year, the scientist has headed the Helmholtz Institute Ionics in Energy Storage in Münster (HI MS) – a branch office of Forschungszentrum Jülich.
