JuDocS Onboarding for doctoral researchers and supervisors

With a welcome e-mail and central onboarding events, we make it easier for you, as doctoral researchers and supervisors, to start in your new role at the Research Center by providing you with the most important information. In addition, we would like to give you the opportunity to get to know colleagues from other institutes.

When you start as a doctoral researcher at Forschungszentrum Jülich or when your institute registers you as a supervisor, we will include you in our IT tool DokMS. You will then receive a welcome e-mail from us shortly after that.

JuDocS Mailinglists

As part of the central registration, we will automatically add you to our JuDocS mailing list for doctoral researchers and supervisors. Through these mailing lists, you will receive information about current offers and events, as well as news from your interest groups.

JuDocS Introductions as Regular Onboarding Events

With the first welcome email, you will also receive an invitation to our next onboarding event. We regularly host these events on campus or virtually, and here you can find information about our activities and offers as well as important contacts on campus. In addition, you will learn what you need to consider regarding the university affiliation when conducting or supervising a doctoral project at Forschungszentrum Jülich as a non-university research institution. Since doctoral researchers and supervisors from all institutes of the center are invited to the onboarding events, you also have the opportunity to get to know new colleagues from other institutes and disciplines.
