Intranet
Forschungszentrum Jülich’s intranet pages can only be accessed by employees via a connection on campus or at the branch offices. A personal virtual private network (VPN) connection may also be used to gain access to the intranet from anywhere. Once you have begun working at Jülich, you can apply to the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) for a VPN on the intranet.
On the intranet pages, you will find internal information, many useful tips for your work, news items, information on contact persons, and much more. The intranet also has an A–Z list that you can search using keywords to quickly find the answers to your questions.
On the intranet, you can also find the Employee Portal. The Employee Portal is where you will find your payslips and travel expense statements, for example, and where you can access various functions associated with the electronic time recording system. You will automatically receive your login details for the Employee Portal during your first few working days. The Employee Portal can be accessed via the intranet.

WLAN
The WLAN of the JuNet offers the possibility to connect to the internet via mobile devices like notebook or smartphone.

IT Tools
The IT portal on the intranet provides information on Forschungszentrum Jülich’s IT and IT services.
This IT portal intranet page lists frequently used tools and templates. Further information on administrative tools, data exchange, collaborative services, communication, project management, and other tools can also be found here in the IT portal on the intranet.
