ISMC

The International Soil Modeling Consortium is a community effort to integrate and advance soil systems modeling. Aims include the quantification of soil ecosystem services, impacts of climate change, land use and agricultural intensification on soils and terrestrial systems across scales. Three science panels facilitate joint model development and intercomparisons, enhance accessibility and usage of soil data and observations as well as their linking to simulation models, close collaboration across disciplines and with neighbouring fields, and outreach to science and society.
